Nepcon Thailand 2009 Highlights Automotive Electronics

Nepcon Thailand 2009, together with Manufacturing Expo 2009, said to be ASEAN's largest manufacturing machinery and technology exhibitions and conferences, attracted 34,206 quality buyers over the four days, June 25-28, 2009, it was held at BITEC Bangkok, according to organizer Reed Tradex.
At the opening ceremony, Minister for Industry, Charnchai Chairungruang, presided over and presented a keynote speech on "Government's Roles in Supporting the Automotive and Electronics Industry," saying "These exhibitions are true catalyst of manufacturing and purchasing. This is in line with the government's policy to support the industry. That's why we support Reed Tradex exhibitions."
Visitors to the Nepcon show paid strong interest to the Hydrogen Car Showcase where they were shown a prototype that claims not to create any pollution. An exclusive function "Nepcon Networking Night" was also held for exhibitors to interact with colleagues and influential authorities in the electronics industries across ASEAN.
Nepcon Thailand 2011 will return to the BITEC arena on 23-26 June, 2011 in Bangkok, Thailand.
