LPKF Supports China’s Environment Protection

1 July 2009
LPKF managers visit Chinese economic specialists

After winning the China Trader Award last year, LPKF Laser & Electronics AG announced it has now intensified its personal relations to the Chinese economy.

During a seminar at the renowned Tsinghua University in Beijing, Torsten Nagel and Britta Schulz, managers of the business segments StencilLaser and Rapid Prototyping respectively, established important contacts to further push business in Asia. A discussion with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council also proved to be very favourable, the company said.

LPKF systems which do without the polluting use of chemicals for the production of SMT stencils and PCB prototypes are a crucial factor for business success in China. “For a densely populated country like China environment protection becomes more and more important. Conventional technologies like the etching of circuit boards have to be avoided as far as possible. LPKF’s contribution is a help not to be undervalued”, points out Nagel.

The environment-friendly solar technology will also become more and more popular in Asia. LPKF develops and sells the machines necessary for the production of thin film solar panels.
